Think You Have More Time?

History is a day by day event, when you are living it, if your life reaches the place where you develop a legacy, then it takes on whole new meanings. Imagine that, what if the life you are passing off today, as having little or no future reference, is about to be catapulted into a future of legacy? What would you do different, anything? Do you, first off, believe Issac was a real Patriarch- not just a made up name? The Old Testament is today examined for it's veracity, as nothing ever has been, so, while you might, as one of the readers of this writing believe Issac was real, I'm here to tell you that you exist in a world which increasingly says that the Patriarch's, not just Issac, are all, made up stories to give us morality lessons. Folks, I'm not making this stuff up, it is being challenged like you wouldn't believe, and that's the weirdest thing of all, because, if anybody kept a vocal history of their lineage, it was, the Jews. So do you imagine that Issac in this conversation, had any inkling whatsoever, that I'd be writing on a computer to you about it, today? Gen 27:2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:
So today lets deal with a reality, you and I, lets get honest with each other about what we intend to leave behind out of our lives- do we seriously think we don't matter at all? Do we have a legacy designed, have we prayed about that with God- do you think Issac did? Is there wisdom in knowing that we don't live forever and so we should make every day count to the hilt?
I'm asking because I exist around people who simply act like they have forever, can do whatever their little pee pickin' minds conceive of, and, it don't matter because Jesus is coming back- it's the sorriest bunch of mess I've ever seen- and worse, they justify such sorry, lazy, blind, stupid and unloving opinions of themselves by suggesting that God's grace is going to cover them about it? My goodness, they must've slept past that part in the revealing of Jesus where John talks about how Jesus feels about half hearted love? Check it out: Rev 3:14 ¶ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Be careful how you spend today - God is watching the legacy you create about Him with your life.
