Somebody is praying...
Can life actually be a vignette and not a novel? It always fascinates me to hear the responses of those who claim they don't believe in God when someone says that they will pray for them. Especially in the midst of tragic moments, momentous events such as births and deaths, and life changing events; the mention of someone who says they will pray for you, simmers the most anti- of anti God types. Ever notice that? Sure you have, but was it a vignette or the beginning of a novel? You were expecting, something else?
