For The Love Of ...

When I was growing up this was a saying, "for the love of Pete would you look at that," now, I never knew who Pete was, but recently have discovered someone who says this is a euphemism for Peter, or, for saying "for the love of God," these sayings that we have, nevertheless, have love at their origin. Love is action, not, inaction. Love is caring, not, apathy. Love is doing, not thinking about doing. Love is giving, not thinking about giving. Love is sacrificing, not thinking about sacrificing. If you look carefully at the confrontations Jesus had with the Pharisees you will see love there, Jesus was saddened and righteously indignant that these great religious leaders who knew so much of the history of His Father, knew so little of the soul of Love? Oh my, let's hope He wouldn't say that of us today? So what can we do to make sure that we are keeping our hearts aligned with His?

Jhn 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Per Signum Crucsis (By The Sign of the Cross)
De Inimicsis Nostre (From our Enemies)
Libera Nos, Deus Noster (Deliver us, our God)
In Nomine Patris (In the name of the Father)
Et Filii (and of the Son)
Et Spiritus SAncti (and of the Holy Spirit)
Amen
