Blessed By Music

My prayer is that whatever talent God instilled within my soul to hear rhythm will come forth and bless a great and talented bunch of gospel singing guys. My personal fear is that my soul won't be up to the challenge- so, even if your not particularly fond of me, would you pray that God would use this talent to bless this group, and, if that's not going to be the case, that God would provide them a drummer better than myself? One of the things that my heart knows is what Kari Jobe has seen come out of "The Revelation Song," and what other gospel greats, one of the greatest, perhaps, being "The Gaithers," let people get to know Jesus this way. God uses every means to get those who need His love, to get to know Him, in fact, the Bible even makes clear that God will use the simple to confound the wise - so here is the question, do you know what that means?
1Cr 1:27 — But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

The word does not mean, what we think it means, at all; little wonder music, which speaks to the soul, honors this word. Confound in this passage and others means at least in one sense to "blush them to shame," which is what is, unfortunately, going to happen to some.
