RRR_discipling_martyr

Recertify has contained within the term an idea. We've been talking about bringing people back to Jesus, working with disciples to keep them engaged with Jesus.
It's a different process, than what we would normally call witnessing. It's a different process than martyring. Martyring is when the authorities or someone in authority isn't in agreement with you about your Christianity, it can take many different forms.
For example, some folks are forced to work on Sundays, even though Sunday is a day when they would want to go to church and worship. So that's a form of martyrdom now it's not a very a deep form, but nevertheless, it is true that is a form of martyrios or being a witness.
Because what you intend to do is go worship, and what they're saying is, no, you can't, that's authority coming in over the top of the proper conduct of a person who wants to worship God.
So that is martyrdom, that's not martyrdom in the sense of the many, many people in the last year, 2024; who were killed because they were given the option of denouncing their faith in Christ or having their head cut off.
Or other very, ugly forms of martyrdom that still exists in the world today in the fight of Christianity against any religions that are not true.
And the only true religion is the one where Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father except by me. Now many people see Jesus saying that with different frames of physical reference.
I personally don't think he was smiling when he said that. Because it seems to me God, the father would want you to have paths to him, instead of just one single path, through Christ's only sacrifice?
That's a human and weak and frail type of thought.
God is not human. God, is God. His thoughts are not our thoughts.
That's what the Prophet Isaiah makes clear to the nation Jerusalem. So when we talk about recertify and we think about disciples, and we think about bringing them back to Jesus; what is it about being with Jesus that actually is so appealing?
And in my mind, one of the first aspects of being with Jesus that is so appealing is that I can receive forgiveness and intercession between God, the Father; and I. Because God, His thoughts are not my thoughts; and my thoughts are sinful ones. Therefore reconciling Sinless God to my thoughts as a sinful man is quite a process for quite a King, my King and our Commander
Jesus.
That's where we recertify to our disciples,
Who Jesus is?
