Caves spook some folks, they feel a sense of being surrounded and locked in, to many people that is very discomforting, but it's a tour "So what are we gonna do?" They stay with the group, getting more and more uncomfortable, until the moment at the lowest point in the cave and the guide says...

If you have asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins; He has. There are zero qualifiers on that, it ain't no test, it is what it is, His grace toward His creation that is being lied to by His enemy. So forgiving your sins- note that, plural- sins- all; is what Jesus does!
1Jo 1:9 -
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Oh my goodness the remembering of that fresh unburdened feeling! No weight on my shoulders of being a jerk, I'm not certain being a jerk is a sin, but I'm pretty sure folks who've observed me being a jerk, which seriously, it's so rare, but pretty certain they'd say "It's a sin Dana." That weight, all the lies, all the theft, all the obnoxious, rude crude and socially unacceptable, sin! Gone! Wow what a feeling.

At that moment the Holy Spirit is in you. Here's one gets theologians all twisted up, He's been there, quietly hinting to you that being so sinful is not feeling good, like it used to. He's been drawing you, and he uses disciples, learners about Jesus, if they're around, as help. Yet His most astonishing miraculous help, is still coming.

The lights in the cave go out. The tour guide says "This is the darkest spot on earth." You were queasy before, now, wow, the sweat is on your neck...

Oh the Bible- God's Word, it is a book that reads you. You read it, and suddenly your in a garden, with a serpent, and Eve. You didn't really want to think about it, but them images are so different?

Then the lights come back on, and you begin to see, fear is a weird lie? The walls didn't fall in, you're still together and now you see the beauty! Gorgeous colors, all natural via chemicals, so breathtaking, why were you ever scared?

My mentor to Christ was a dear friend I shall always remember, Al, and Al helped me get started reading the Bible in Mark, a short gospel (means good news) that really showed me Jesus. Reading Mark was like eating food to me, this Jesus was someone I wanted to get to know. Friends saw the change first- "Hey what's got into you, you ain't all gloomy." But friends we'll talk on much, as we explore remembering, recounting and recertifying, have no fear; that RRR thing is easy and even, fun.

As you leave the cave, sunlight seems oddly brighter, just a bit, and the cloudless blue sky? Now you've a story to share? It will be about how you...felt...it will be a memory...years down the highway of life you will remember.

Bible is a sweet word meaning sacred scriptures. Truth is, it is much, much more. As we learn about learning about sharing with others about learning, you'll feel how natural it is. The Bible is a miracle. Jesus is that miracle it talks about. Remembering Jesus becomes so, so sweet in a disciples life and in the lives of those whom they serve and disciple with.

Peace. To my understanding, most people experience that "cave experience " not fully understanding what Sin does to our mind, body and spirit.

When we accept Christ into our lives, it's like that old jazz standard "I'm Beginning To See The Light". The light Jesus brings into our lives. Amen ❤️ 🙏
