Recertify 4 RRR discipling

Not a project!

Remember recount, recertify it's not a project. You can't do it as a project when you remember that's not a project. Those are memories, those are things that took place in your past; now; the accuser, will want you to remember sins of your past, and that's how, you know, that it's the accuser, they get reinforced.

Because that cannot be the voice of the Holy Spirit. Why? Because your sins, if you ask Jesus to forgive you of them are gone, they're gone. Now, you say, well, Dana, that's not even real, because they still exist, I still remember them. True, and we are talking about remembering, but the accuser will bring them up, to point them out to you as things that you did, that were wrong.

The Holy Spirit will show you that those are things, that Christ has forgiven you of. So then we talk about recounting; well, how about recounting the level of forgiveness that was involved in that?

And this is what you see the Old Testament patriarch's doing that. I hope someday we'll get to discuss. They literally built upon their bad experiences; their simple experiences where God forgave them. That's the Old Testament. In the New Testament grace is enormous. It is enormous!

When you read Paul standing before the governor or standing before the King testifying about what's happening to him, where people were trying to kill him. You don't hear Paul recounting his failures. Rather, what does he testify about? The significance of the impact of Jesus on his life, when he was knocked to his knees in the desert? And Jesus asked the question of why he was fighting against Jesus.

Recertification isn't a project. It's not a project. It is, I hate to use the term lifestyle; but it is a lifestyle because what you're putting forth is your life. You don't get another today. I don't get another today the only today that I have is now Tomorrow. It will be gone, it will be written as history, which hopefully the accuser, won't be able to use to point out to me, what a loss that was?

So that I get to point out to him, that Christ taught again, that was because when I'm at my weakest Jesus is at his strongest. Obviously, not admitting that that has to be; or I'm out of grace, and I'm never going to be out of grace, why, because grace overcomes the multitude of sins that I'm capable of doing without even thinking about it. That's how inconsiderate I am as a follower of Christ, and I freely admit it, and I am ashamed of it. But the truth is, Jesus response, he won't let me be ashamed of it, because what does he tell me?

Stand up? Make disciples teach them. Baptise them in the name of the father of the son and the Holy Spirit. Look, recertification means that you're not doing a project, you're living your life for Christ.
