Recertify1 RRR Discipleship

Now, you say, well, how did the Egyptians have a choice? It was Pharoah, making the choice at any point, if Pharoah said,
"You know, what Moses, I'm going to, I'm going to go along with you. We're going to really rethink all of these things that we've done, and we're going to convert, to this Yahweh (pronounced Yaw-way), that you're talking about, and we're going to, we're gonna really listen to you." But if at any point Pharoah, had done that, do you think that Egypt and the Egyptians would have eventually over time converted and become god-fearing? Now they wouldn't be Christians yet? This is way back in the Old Testament times with Moses. But what if God willing to show his wrath and make his power known, I mean, he definitely made his power known to Pharaoh, he definitely made his power known to the Egyptians, and yet They did not convert.
Now, you say, "Well, you know, Dana, that's an Old Testament example," but here's what to think about. Those Egyptians. Had an opportunity to convert, if you saw those things, and you heard what they heard about the fact that this God of these Jews is the one who's doing all of these things, what would you do?

Now, you know that that sounds humorous, but if you think about people that you share with today, what do they do? We say to someone you know, you're a very pleasant person. You must be a Christian? You must belong to a church somewhere? They go, Nope, sure, don't; Don't see the need in it. Okay, when they make that response to you, what they're saying is they've seen things, they're aware of the fact that God exists.
But they don't want to go down that highway of following Christ. I believe in most people that are mostly dedicated to sinning hearts, the idea is I don't want to serve a Christ who's going to cut into my sins he's gonna cut into my lifestyle, etc.
So Paul in Galatians 1:11 begins by talking to the people who want to say that the only thing that he's doing is preaching a gospel that's going to edify himself and others, and it's only going to raise them up to the lowering of other people.
And so he says this, but I certify, you brethren, that the gospel, which was preached of me, is not after man. Okay, it's important to note when Paul is saying this about certifying, what we're talking about is recertifying, when you were born again, the Holy Spirit came into you.
You have now a testimony of that experience and what we like to talk about and what we like to share is how do you share that experience with someone so that they want to come to know this Jesus who has altered your life? And believe me people who knew me, when I was much younger, we won't go into my guts and glory, you know, testimony at this point, but people who knew me in the past. Would absolutely tell you yeah, Dana has changed. And he's changed huge. And I can promise you that God took a worthless individual who could not be trusted and transformed him into an individual who is often trusted and can be trusted, so that is a certification that now I recertify, how do we do that? By sharing with you? And trying to teach you how to make disciples, we need to honour the great commission. Go and teach and do that in the name of our Jesus, and we're going to talk about that in recertifying.
