and sometimes it downright doesn't agree with our ability to really
think from the God point of view. Ever wonder why God would
make us in His image and then we'd choose to not stay there?
That's not a bad question and some have answered that question
by maintaining that man didn't choose to fall from perfection, that
he had help in the process in the form of the Devil, or Lucifer,
who approached Eve with a subtle test of the situation about God
making humankind in His image. Really hardcore interpreters will
insist that Adam could have simply resisted the whole situation and
told Eve to get right and that would have been it. What they tend to
forget is that wouldn't be very loving (would it?), and God sort of
insists that we do what, love one another? So what if we go ahead
and get a bit deep here and suggest that in the overarching Godly
nature of loving one another, is the final solution set that Adam
chose, but therein lies another set of problems, is God always in
constant connection with us?
As you answer, "of course," let me ask why it was necessary
then, for people to call upon God and then He'd hear?
Why does God say that first people have to do
some things before He will hear from heaven? Is God hearing
somehow connected into the process? Does the Holy Spirit as we
understand Him function in the capacity of being in our lives as
air in our lungs? Since that is the case, and this goes back to your
earlier discussion about the garden, well, why do we go through the
process of confessional prayer and asking for God to forgive us?
Hint: this may not be what you think...imagine that...
1Pe 3:7 | Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. |
