Week One Day 2

 Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, without Your help this won't happen. You have so much resources, we must depend upon You. So as You said, disciples means much more than merely learning. Any student can learn, discipling to You Lord Jesus means much more. It means knowing You in a much deeper way. Reading of You, not only daily Bible reading, but additionally taking in materials that broaden our densely packed opinion of whom we believe You to be, imaged into, Who you most likely were, Rabbi. So that Holy Spirits description of You (The Bible) is supplemented.  "Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus" is now fairly well understood for in depth familiarity that let's Holy Spirit enlighten us more. Lord You are there, we are here, Holy Spirit bridges us together, we seek deeper, please help us into that light?

We hear You on forming a group. It's true we know you found four, and at the same time it's true, we don't know perhaps beyond Peter, the significant fact of their names having meanings? To the villages, to their families, to You. It's also true we don't know how you do math, so four seems odd, but You operate on base units of 12? Therefore four personal first choices would seem to be a third? What does John talk of in Revealing You off Patmos- a third of waters, lands, and? We have much to discover Lord, Your help is an enormous blessing, we have work to do finding 4 Christians to get close with? You are the master,  please wise us up?

Remembering1-RRR discipling

Tenderloin is one of our favorite meats, as a meal we eat it with Rice-a-Roni or just rice; usually I try to make some gravy to go with the rice, and we have a vegetable. There is almost always some left over meat that I refrigerate in it's juice. A day or two later put that into a pan, as the frozen meat and juice heats up it fills the pan- then I'll add barbeque sauce to that and it boils down to the point the tenderloin falls apart and it's now pulled pork bbq for a marvelous sandwich. Tasty, it really, is. When Holy Spirit drew you from hell, usually by bringing you to your senses, of how messed up you were? When Holy Spirit does that, you are like a cooked meal that's been set aside in the refrigerator- you are preserved, but your function is stopped. Before, you were a meal, now, your just preserved.
