Sure Fire

Sure fire you ever hear something called a sure fire cure for something, was it? How often are sure fire cures really cures? Remember Aha, yes, that's right, remember; that those things that are often called surefire turn out to be fires that had water poured on them.
And one of the things that if we have described as working at, in remembering is remembering with a purpose, remembering with some subtlety and some nuance to it, because we control the memory process, we control what we remember and how we remember it, we control the things that we choose to make significant. And sure fire cures I'm pretty much sure are guaranteed not to work, aren't they?
So as you're recounting your walk with Jesus, and you're recounting the things that you're remembering recount to things, count them again The Times that so-called surefire.
Things it didn't work out.
And then take a look at the many things that he accomplished in the midst of that. Because one of the most powerful things about if the prophetic ministry of Christ in your life today; is how he can make the truth that he is come to bear relevance in your life.
Now is that always a good thing is that always a fun thing. Well, it's almost always a good thing.
It's almost never a fun thing. Because usually it involves something called thin and usually it involves it's something called confession, and usually involves something called repentance, and none of those uh, turn out to be as much fun as we'd like them to be. So we end up in a process of recertifying our walk with Christ.
Walking out here as I am in the yard, where we can hear the birds chirping and the power of God and creation all around us, and we recertified that it is Christ.
It is as John said, nothing was made, that was made if it wasn't made in Him where everything is founded in Christ without Christ, there is nothing.
And so we recertify our faith, and that's what you want to do with your disciples is you want to be sure to take them to Jesus. Because actually do any of us have disciples? No; if anybody is learning, why are they learning, they're learning, because Christ provided the learning to take place and ultimately, that's the truth that you want to pass on to those who choose to listen and to have eyes to see and ears to hear.
