Week 2 day 1

 As we look deeper into discipling, let's think on the essence of what it means. First it's personal, which means, the mask comes off. Now that doesn't mean losing your mind. Don't misunderstand, read Amos 3:3 carefully. Personal mostly means you care.  Touch- it takes guts- it ain't fun- in fact I'll promise you, the love you expand in your soul toward Jesus and your 4 disciples- Huh? 4? Oh oh, you ain't found 'em yet? Know why? That love will cost you. Here you go, Peter Sillence Fleming, hmm...not a name you're familiar with.

Don't misunderstand, discipling means taking them back to Jesus- back to Jesus, why do I say it that way, because, that's why we have brothers and sisters in Christ. In Christ- note that, in Christ- you take your disciples to Christ. That's the task- when Jesus talks in Matthew about His command the so euphemizied great commission- so misquoted, so missused, so mishandled; He said "Since you're going anyway (Walking through the valley of the shadow of death- uh, we call it, life), make disciples. 
Make disciples, now, your question may be, how? That parts easy- see if this seems familiar-

Pray- pray, pray! About it all. Before you - fear- pray, yell, pray, sin, pray. 
Repent- we all sin- to deny that is to lie, know why that matters? You can't repent of sin you aren't aware of? What's that mean? It means the obvious ain't the sin, it's the obvious; meaning- take cussing- but that's an outward expression of something deeper- way deeper, usually; what might it be? A total lack of respect for God- it damages you and your witness in ways we don't like to consider- but there it is. So how to repent? What's Jesus's half brother James say about it? Oh my, ever wonder why James?
